Why Reading Books to Kids is Beneficial The most cherished part of growing up is hearing stories from parents or grandparents. As a kid you really enjoy hearing stories or fables about mythological characters or superheroes from your parents and grandparents. And as a parent telling story to the kid is the way you instil important values in your kids and teach them important lessons in life. When you tell a story with a moral lesson to your kid he will always remember the moral lesson and it will get cemented in his/her life.
