Walking Out to Wholeness:

Walk Out is simply the process of renewing your mind. It is making God’s mindset your own. You must walk away from those old habits . You must walk out of old, ungodly ways of thinking — and into new godly ways. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2 Walking Out to Wholeness WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 4

Be g entle with yourself. Recognize that guilt and condemnation will keep you from victory. A mistake is painful enough without creating further injury with emotional self–abuse and unforgiveness . WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 8

Hold every thought captive!:

Hold every thought captive! The battle starts in your mind. Discern good from evil. Replace the lies of the enemy with the word of God . Recognize the thought for what it is — Temptation. Temptation is not sin, it is only Satan’s kingdom checking you out . WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 9

Apply the 8R’s To Freedom:

Apply the 8R’s To Freedom 1. Recognize . Recognize what is in your life that is not from God. 2 . Take Responsibility for what you have recognized. Don’t blame God or anyone else . (Accusation is blaming someone else for a problem you won’t deal with.) 3. Repent for the problem you recognize and your participation with the enemy. 4. Renounce . Fall completely out of agreement with your sin . WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 10

Apply the 8R’s To Freedom.:

Apply the 8R’s To Freedom. 5 . Remove the sin from your life. Cast it out. 6. Resist . Draw nigh to God and resist it coming back. Absolutely refuse to get involved with the sin. Flee from and resist evil temptation. 7. Rejoice . Give thanks to God for your freedom. 8. Restore . Help to restore others held captive . WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 11

Walking in Victory For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: ( For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. 2 Corinthians 10:3–6 WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 14

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places . Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day , and having done all, to stand . Eph 6:10-13 WALKOUT ©2013 Insights into Healing 21
