ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE:

ENVIRONMENTAL PERFORMANCE Testing has seen the vehicle reduce CO2 emissions by 25 percent. Lower emissions of particulate matter and NOx. The vehicle easily meets Euro 4 emission requirements.

OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE:

OPERATIONAL PERFORMANCE The electric motor works primarily in city driving, while the diesel engine runs on highways (constant speed). The Hino Hybrid is eight seconds quicker from 0-70km/h than a comparable diesel truck (3t payload). A further fuel-saving features include regenerative braking, saving wear on the four-wheel disc brakes

TEST RESULTS :

TEST RESULTS MEASUREMENT METRICS Fuel consumption against control group Cost of electrical maintenance. Cost of non-electrical maintenance. Cost of brake maintenance. Instances/impact of operational benefits.

TEST RESULTS (6,870kms) :

TEST RESULTS (6,870kms) TRIAL - 3 MONTHS:COMPARISON - CONTROLLED GROUP Fuel consumption currently 25% less per km than the controlled Group (13.50 l/100km). No scheduled maintenance has been required. One vehicle: Rectify a minor fault with the Hill Start Assist system.
