Maintain the current capacity of bus service highly Increase bus service in peak hours rather than normal time Modify the buses with the help of municipality Connect with other transport services Increase the route of bus service Follow this strategies –a) Stretch and shrink -offer inferior extra capacity at peaks (for standees) -vary seated space per customer -extend/cut hours of service(8am to 11am and 5pm to 8pm /1pm to 3pm) b)Chase demand (adjust capacity to match demand) -schedule downtime in low demand periods -use part-time employees - share extra facilities and equipment( newspaper, water bottles, light music etc.)
