An international marketing strategy for adjusting the marketing mix elements to each international target market, bearing more costs but hoping for a larger market share and return. It requires adjustment for each new geographic market segment. ADAPTED MARKETING MIX

Slide 3: 

McDonald’s follows adapted marketing mix. It uses the same basic fast food operating model in its restaurants around the world but adapts its menu to local tastes. In Korea it sells the Bulgogi Burger, a grilled pork patty on a bun with garlicky soy sauce. But in India, where cows are considered sacred, McDonald’s serves McChicken, McVeggie, McPuffs, McAloo Tikki.
