Compliance All employees, managers and supervisors must comply. This system ensures compliance by: Informing employees of provisions of IIPP Providing training Discipline for failure to comply with safe and healthful work practices


Communication New worker orientation IIP program review updates Training Safety meetings H&S on meeting agenda Posted or distributed H&S Info. Inform your supervisor about workplace hazards.

Risk Assessment:

Risk Assessment Office Risk Assessment Employee Risk Assessment (projects) Completed with Initial Project Review Completed prior to the Project Plan of Work Include Hazard Information Procedures Form HMF100

Incidents and Investigations:

Incidents and Investigations All work-related incidents/exposures and near misses must be reported: Immediate Online Notification (HMM Intranet) Supervisor’s Investigation – 24 hours Comprehensive Investigation – 72 hours Recordkeeping: Monthly Management Reports Annual Summary Logs

Hazard Correction:

Hazard Correction Correction Criteria: When observed or discovered Imminently dangerous – remove affected personnel and assign responsibility to correct Communication is the key!

Training and Instruction:

All employees shall have training and instruction Initial IIPP Introduction for new employees New job assignment Change of condition New or unrecognized hazard Supervisors Training and Instruction
