Procter Gamble PG is contnuing to produce ads that touch on larger topics than the products they sell.

Recently Gillete produced a MeToo-inspired ad that reframes their tagline “THE BEST A MAN CAN GET” and the reacton to it has been very divided.

PGs response to the critcism is that they are trying to appeal to younger consumer groups with these types of ads - and that it hasnt hurt their sales.
