Becoming Aware of Our Patterns:

Gwen Dittmar, MA ~ Entelechy Coaching, LLC Becoming Aware of Our Patterns April 17, 2013 One Health

How Do We Become Aware? :

Our patterns and unconscious intentions show up in the form of results that we experience in our lives. We may not enjoy the results, nonetheless they provide us with the feedback of the patterns and freedom from them. What results are you seeing in your life? How Do We Become Aware? EXERCISE ~ Write you answers as I review an example ~ :

“ A conscious realization of our innate oneness with the Ineffable does not mean that we will never make a mistake again. Even enlightened beings burn their bagels once in a while. It ’ s important to maintain a sense of humor because this is how you will stop being afraid of making a mistake. You ’ ll make some, but so what? That ’ s why they ’ re called mis-takes. Humor relaxes the uptight ego. You get a new cue from your inner Self and simply say, “ I missed my cue, so let ’ s do a second take. ” Your willingness to take the risk of making a mistake is actually an expression of courage and a willingness to grow from them. Mistakes are about getting the blessing in the lesson and the lesson in the blessing. ” ~ Michael Bernard Beckwith from Spiritual Liberation EXERCISE ~ Write you answers as I review an example ~ Entelechy Coaching, LLC

Step 2: Origin:

Step 2: Origin PATTERN I have an unconscious intention and pattern to be overweight. I have an unconscious intention and pattern of not having enough. I have an unconscious intention and pattern of being with uncommitted men. ORIGIN I grew up comforting myself with food; not doing that required discipline and sitting with uncomfortable feelings. My father capped at a certain salary and I felt disloyal surpassing that amount. It felt easier to be alone; I witnessed codependency and it was unattractive to me. Entelechy Coaching, LLC

Step 3: Affirm Conscious Intention and Patterns:

Step 3: Affirm Conscious Intention and Patterns PATTERN I have an unconscious intention and pattern to be overweight. I have an unconscious intention and pattern of not having enough. I have an unconscious intention and pattern of being with uncommitted men. CONSCIOUS INTENTION I consciously and lovingly choose to care for my body; it ’ s a reflection of self love and love of God who made me. I consciously allow myself to shine, receive and expand personally, professionally and financially. We consciously commit to our individual growth, respect for the partnership ’ s growth, we are both fulfilled, we both have God. Entelechy Coaching, LLC

Step 4: Action Steps:

I consciously choose not to eat wheat, gluten or sugar. I consciously eat only when hungry. I pour love into my work each day through meditating before I work. I meditate daily on my inner radiance and connection with something higher than me. Step 4: Action Steps Entelechy Coaching, LLC
