Foundation Goals for 2013-14:

Foundation Goals for 2013-14 eradicate polio, build ownership and pride in our Foundation , launch the new Rotary grant model, engage in innovative partnerships and projects.

2013-14 Rotary Foundation Trustee Chair:

2013-14 Rotary Foundation Trustee Chair Dong Kurn (D.K.) Lee Trustees are appointed to four-year terms by the RI president, with approval from the RI Board of Directors. Chair

First goal : eradicate polio:

First goal : eradicate polio We have immunized over 2 billion children , Rotary has spent over 1.2 billion US$, and thousand of volunteering hours . Endemic poliovirus is gone from all but three countries in the world, We are “ this close ” to ending polio.

Make history today::

Make history today: The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation will match 2 for 1 every dollar Rotary International commits up to $35 million to polio eradication through 2018. Donate $5, it becomes $15. Donate $100, it becomes $300.

Second goal : building ownership and pride in our Foundation:

Second goal : building ownership and pride in our Foundation The greater our Foundation’s resources, the greater our own ability as Rotarians to meet the needs of our communities The Endowment Fund and Annual Fund allow us to share our resources, work together, and bring our work to a higher level. Our goal for the Annual Fund in 2013-14 will be $120 million .

Third goal: Rotary’s grant model :

Third goal: Rotary’s grant model Full rollout of the grant model that we have been calling Future Vision . 3 types : District Grants, Global Grants and Packaged Grants [= 2 names ] 87% of pilot districts said that the new model is excellent, very good, or good.

Fourth goal: innovate:

Fourth goal: innovate Engage clubs in innovative partnerships and projects , to expand our reach and our impact .
