Topic 2: Health Information & Media Literacy By: Kurt Hu

PowerPoint 演示文稿:

For example : o n Facebook, I choose who can see my posted things very carefully, but I have a concern about what happens if someone who can see my posting, shares them with others who I do not know. But I think I tried my best to protect my personal privacy already, there is nothing I can do about my concerns. How is Personal Privacy Achieved

PowerPoint 演示文稿:

There are two main classifications for digital footprints: passive and active. A passive digital footprint is created when data is collected without the owner knowing. Active digital footprints are created when personal data is released deliberately by a user for the purpose of sharing information about oneself by means of websites or social media. Passive digital footprints can be stored in many ways depending on the situation. In an online environment a footprint may be stored in an online data base as a "hit". This footprint may track the user IP address, when it was created, and where they came from; with the footprint later being analyzed . What are digital footprints

PowerPoint 演示文稿:

Why digital footprints is important ? It is important because it can be helpful for us to find the things we have looked at online to be able to quickly find them again. But on the other hand, some of the digital footprints record and share our online activities without our knowledge and invasion of our right to privacy. Why digital footprints are important My Personal View about digital footprints is: Every individual needs to have Individual space for themselves.

PowerPoint 演示文稿:

Because I think everybody has their own identity and there may be things that they don't want others to know about them. Each person is a unique individual and in order to be true to what a person thinks and believes in, it is important to protect yourself as an individual. It should be respected because every person is unique and different and it is these differences that make up what are lives are about. At school, there is always pressure to conform; to be like everyone else and it takes a lot of courage to be who you are without interference from peers to be something that they want you to conform to. Why should individualism be respected

PowerPoint 演示文稿:

What are your experiences with showing Respect for others and yourself Sometime good friends in China shares passwords with each other, but when I came to Canada, I figure out people in here don't like others knowing their password, so I showed my respect to them every time they entered their passcode.
