Strengths :

The company has 180 products under 30 major product groups which cater the need of many core sectors. Ability to acquire modern technology and make suitable to Indian condition. Quality R & D Global Presence Strengths 11

Weaknesses :

Company is Vertically Integrated ,which could have been reduced by outsourcing of components. This could have reduced the cost. Offers very stringent credit facility to customers. This is a weakness in comparison to rising competition. Weaknesses 12

Opportunities:

The power sector reforms are expected to pick up in the near future in India. The disinvestment plan of the government would bring in new resources and experience in the company. Joint venture in the name of power plant improvement limited is a major strength of the company. Opportunities 13
