Q7 Looking back at your perlim task, what have you learnt in progression from that to the final product? :

We had enjoyed the preliminary task as a group, working from the story board as a group we had completed the task well and the out come of our work for the first time. After completing this task we had learnt how to use the camera and tried the different effects that there was on the camera. For the first time I had learnt how to attach a tripod on to the camera and set it at the right length. Following the story board had made it easier to set the camera angles, this was a guidance for us to use while we was filming. The main factor for us to overcome was to try and avoid dead space in the scene, there was a small scene when Jamiul and Sana were talking and Ruhan and I were having difficulties to avoid too much space in the scene that was not being used. Q7 Looking back at your perlim task, what have you learnt in progression from that to the final product? Dead space in the scene

Q7 Looking back at your perlim task, what have you learnt in progression from that to the final product? Below I have made screen shots of the main parts in the preliminary video.

Slide 3:

After completing our 2 minute opening of our film I could see that progression that was made between both films, for example we has experimented more and used different locations for the filming. This had given us the ability to use different camera angles and we had tried our best to use a variety while filming. As a group we all had a role in the scenes we took our roles seriously and had tried our best to make it work. While Jamiul was editing the video he had more time to add in the sound effects which was something he had learned, Sana had worked along side of Jamiul and completed research to find different sound effects for example of fax machines, clicking sounds of photos etc.. While I was watching other the both films recordings I could see that camera angles in the opening does not have dead space, we had set the camera to make sure that the casts and the main areas of the location were filmed. Q7 Looking back at your perlim task, what have you learnt in progression from that to the final product? The sound effects of photos being taken Were used to show these images.

Slide 5:

After completing the whole 2 minute opening, I have learnt there has to be a lot of time and planning that needs to be put in to create a opening of a film. A lot f detail needs to be included: Location planning Time planning for each scene Script Cast Camera angles There are many more things to consider. While creating the video we had learnt how to use different software's. A lot of research had to be put in to the coursework to decide which institution would be used, genre, and asking the public on preferences of the genre they like to watch.
