Variables for Analysis:

Variables for Analysis ADATE_2--- Date the 97NK promotion was mailed ADATE_3--- Date the 96NK promotion was mailed ADATE_4--- Date the 96TK promotion was mailed RDATE_3---Date the gift was received for 96NK RDATE_4---Date the gift was received for 96TK RDATE_5---Date the gift was received for 96SK

Interpretation of Variables:

Interpretation of Variables I was assigned 40+ variables but I took a set of 6 of them that should represent how the work would be done for all 40 variables. If “9706” was the input for the variable ADATE_2 this would mean that the date that the promotion was mailed was in June(6 th month) of 1997(97). All of the ADATE variables follow this same pattern. If “9602” was the input for the variable RDATE_3 then this would mean that the gift was received in February(2 nd month) of 1996(96). All of the RDATE variables behave this way.

ADATE_2:

ADATE_2 Date the 97NK promotion was mailed 9704 9706 5 48274 What this data means is that 5 times the 97NK promotion was mailed in April 1997 and 48,274 times it was mailed in June 1997.

ADATE_3:

ADATE_3 Date the 96NK promotion was mailed 9604 9606 7 47277 This means that 7 times the 96NK promotion was mailed in April 1996 and 47,277 times it was mailed in June 1996.

ADATE_4:

ADATE_4 Date that the 96TK promotion was mailed 9511 9512 9602 9603 9604 9605 9607 9609 2 2 1 11 46776 86 170 93 This means that the promotion was mailed twice in November 1995, twice in December 1995, once in February ‘96, 11 times in March ‘96, 46776 times in April ‘96, 86 times in May ‘96, 170 times in July ‘96, and 93 times in September ‘96.
