Obesity is an epidemic which is increasing at an alarming rate despite the billions we spend each year on “diet solutions” 41% of Americans are on a diet right now The average dieter wants to lose at least 37 pounds 70-85% of people who lose weight regain it all back within 5 years

The risks associated with being overweight or obese are clear. :

The risks associated with being overweight or obese are clear. Someone who is 40% overweight is twice as likely to die prematurely as is an average-weight person. Moderate obesity (BMI 30-35) reduces life expectancy by an average of 3 years. Severe obesity (BMI 40-50) reduces life expectancy by an average of ten years, the same impact as a lifetime of smoking.

As current trends continue, obesity is overtaking smoking as the leading preventable cause of death :

They will, however, gladly accept your money and tell you exactly what you want to hear. The government isn’t going to fix things either. Regardless of its intent, the huge conglomerates in the food industry will always block meaningful changes in how they do business.

Now for the good news!:

Now for the good news! The long term solution to eliminating obesity and improving your health is readily available to anyone who wants it. You have all the resources you need to develop a healthier lifestyle, particularly if you’ve lost weight in the past, but gained it all back.

Dieting isn’t the answer! Better health isn’t just something I talk about, it’s something I live everyday. Much of the information I provide is based upon my own experience and exhaustive research. After years of watching my own weight yo-yo back and forth, I finally decided to stop focusing on losing weight and began to focus on improving my health. I stopped dieting and made a commitment to lifestyle changes I can live with.
