Why do You Exercise?

Reasons for Exercising : 

Reasons for Exercising It makes your body healthy. It gives you more energy. It makes your brain work better. It reduces stress. It makes you look better. It is fun.

Exercise makes your body healthy. : 

Exercise makes your body healthy. Exercise helps your lungs and heart work better. Exercise makes you more muscular and stronger. Exercise helps your blood move through your body. Exercise helps prevent your risk of heart disease and other illnesses as you get older.

Exercise gives you more energy. : 

Exercise gives you more energy. 1. When you exercise, your body is working better so it doesn’t waste energy that it has. 2. Your body begins to be stronger so that you can exercise for longer periods of time and can do more difficult activities. 3. By exercising, your body stores extra energy just like a bank can store money to use at a later time.

Exercise makes your brain work better. : 

Exercise makes your brain work better. 1. Exercise makes your brain work better because the blood is carrying oxygen to all of your brain cells . 2. Because your brain is getting more oxygen, you are less tired and can pay attention better in school and at home. 3. When your brain is getting plenty of oxygen and is working better, you can think more clearly.

Exercise reduces stress in your body. : 

Exercise reduces stress in your body. Stress is the pressure people feel when things happen to them or when something in their life changes for the good or bad. Exercise helps to get rid of some or all of the pressure people feel.

Exercise makes you look better. : 

Exercise makes you look better. Exercise helps to burn some of the calories you eat which keeps you at a healthy weight. Exercise helps your muscles become stronger and more toned or firm. Exercise helps your skin to look healthier. Exercise helps strengthen your bones which improves your posture.

Exercising Safely : 

Exercising Safely Remember these tips when exercising: Choose a safe time and place to exercise. Make sure your parents know where you are at all times. Don’t exercise too hard, especially in the beginning. Drink lots of water before, during and after exercising so you don’t dehydrate yourself.

Most of all, be sure to have fun exercising. Do activities that you love! You will probably exercise more often and keep at it longer. :
