To be technical, You draw Perspective based upon where the view is located from:

To be technical, You draw Perspective based upon where the view is located from One vanishing point is typically used for roads, railway tracks, hallways, or buildings viewed so that the front is directly facing the viewer.

PowerPoint Presentation:

Two-point perspective can be used to draw the same objects as one-point perspective, rotated: looking at the corner of a house, or looking at two forked roads shrink into the distance, for example. Looking at a house from the corner, one wall would recede towards one vanishing point, the other wall would recede towards the opposite vanishing point. FYI: TWO POINT PERSPECTIVE However, based on being beginner levels, we are going to just stick with one point perspective on this project…

Things to remember: change the size of objects as they get farther away by making them smaller & overlapping:

Requirements for your landscape::

Requirements for your landscape: You must show ATLEAST ONE of the following in one-point perspective: a lane, railroad track, road, sidewalk You must show a house or barn You must demonstrate that as things go back in perspective they get smaller Simulated texture on the trees with colored pencil (there is less detail on the trees farther away) Finally you will use dry brush techniques for the fall foliage
