Reduced anti-social behaviour, including aggressive and disruptive actions. Helping to develop cooperation and teamwork skills. Emotional and intellectual benefits: Improved self-esteem and confidence. Help with management of anxiety and stress. Improved concentration. Health benefits: Promotion of healthy growth and development. Strong muscles and bones. Improved physical fitness, including coordination and movement skills. Reduced risk of disease and unhealthy weight gain.

Benefits of Personal Development & Health (PDH):

Benefits of Personal Development & Health (PDH) * Most Australian children are healthy and doing well, but we can always do better. * A child's health and wellbeing depends on what happens to them as individuals, as part of a family, as members of communities and within Australian society as a whole. This includes their experiences at school, including learning PDH. * There is sound evidence that prevention initiatives early in life are highly effective. PDH Education is prevention, and can improve outcomes for children. * The health, behaviour and attitudes of young people today are crucial to the health of the future Australia, and PDH can help develop these positively.

Our classroom:

Our classroom PE helps contribute to daily physical activity in children. PE supports children’s development of motor/movement and active lifestyle skills. PDH covers learning of nutrition, physical activity, safety , self-awareness , and much more. PDH helps ensure positive development of children’s health and wellbeing. PDHPE can be the most beneficial and enjoyable aspect of school. So make sure PDHPE continues to be a key component of your child’s education!
