Cierra Aaron My favorite memory at West Jasper was the time I went to Stix in the 3 rd Grade.

I would like to give a shout out to my teachers for pushing me to make good grades and helping me reach my goals.:

I would like to give a shout out to my teachers for pushing me to make good grades and helping me reach my goals. When I grow up, I would like to be a Dentist or a Veterinarian.

Kenneth Amerson My favorite memory at West Jasper was when Mrs. Evans almost fell in a bucket.

I want to give a shout out to my teacher for teaching me. I also want to thank my parents for believing in me. I want to go to college and be a computer technician when I grow up.

I would like to give a shout out to my teachers and family. Thanks for supporting me and teaching me what I didn’t know. You have always been there for me from the start to the finish. I would like to go to Auburn University and become a policeman when I grow up.

Kailyn Gunn My favorite memory was Christmas 2009. That was the last time I saw my grandfather.

Devin Harris My favorite memory at West Jasper was when Ms. Jones tried to stop a fight. She acted like a police officer. She spread the persons legs and put her against the wall.

I would like to give a shout out to Mrs. Turner for being the greatest teacher to me. She taught me mostly everything I know. When I grow up, I want to be a scientist. I want to invent a flying car. It is going to run off of gas.

Zamia Harris My favorite memory at West Jasper was when Mrs. Evans almost fell in the blue bucket. Another great memory was when we went to McWane Center to the IMAX.

I want to give a shout out to Mrs. Hunt, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. Cunningham, Mrs. Morrow, Ms. Jones, Mrs. Evans, and Mrs. Simon. They all taught me never to stop halfway if you want to live your dream! When I grow up, I want to be a veterinarian.

I want to thank Mrs. Evans, Mrs. Simon, my mom, my dad and my grandma for helping me when my grandpa died. I also want to thank them for helping me get good grades. I want to graduate from high school and college and become a sniper for the Army.

Fifth graders, I just want you all to know how much I truly care for you. No matter how many years go by or how old you become, you will always be MY students! My greatest desire is for you to succeed. Remember, it takes HARD WORK, but if we work hard…we get smarter! Focus on the future, stay away from trouble, and do your very best. You can be and do whatever you desire, just stay positive! I will be praying for you, cheering you on, and wishing you all the best this life has to offer. God promises, that “He knows the plans He has for you~plans to prosper and not harm, plans for a hope and a future!” (Jer. 29:11) Hang on to His promise and never forget, I am only a phone call away! “Congratulations! Today is your day. You’re off to Great Places! You’re off and away!”

Kara Banks My favorite memory at West Jasper was when Mrs. Pilling got on top of the school and did the chicken dance.

I want to give a special thanks to my parents for all they have done for me through the years! When I grow up, I would like to be a veterinarian so I can help the animals in need.

Joselyn Chatman My favorite memory at West Jasper was when I was in GEMS in the 3 rd Grade. I also remember when L’Via , Kara, Jasmine, and I went to Montgomery. We went ice skating and we all fell on our icy bottoms.

I want to thank my mom, dad, sister, brother, and my whole family for helping me with everything and helping me make a huge success in life. When I grow up, I want to be a dancer because I have always wanted my own crew and to be on America’s Best Dance Crew . That is why I have been dancing all of my life.

I would like to thank Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Evans for teaching me all I need to know for the 6 th grade. I would like to thank my mom for waking me up on time so I can attend school. I want to be a lawyer when I grow up because I like to argue with people and prove to people that I am right!

Isadore Holiday My favorite memory at West Jasper was when we went outside and played kickball with Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Evans.

I would like to thank Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Evans for always telling me to do my work and never stop what you want to do when you grow up. They also told me to never hang out with people that might get you into trouble. What I want to be when I grow up is to go to college so I can take care of my family. I can help my mom and dad with the bills and so I can take care of them.

Kailea Jordan My favorite memory at West Jasper was in the 2 nd grade when Mrs. Cunningham was absent and our substitute was Mrs. Lovett. She sat in the chair and it rolled out from under her and she hit the ground.

I would like to thank Mrs. Simon and Mrs. Evans for helping me prepare myself for 6 th grade. Also, I would like to thank Mr. Moss for having me on the West Jasper News team. Lastly, I would like to thank Mrs. Roberts for helping me solve problems. I will miss you all!! My goal in life is to become an author so I can entertain, inform, persuade and show children there is more to life than being a superstars.

Today is a very important day. It is a day of reflection and change. Releasing you is not an easy task, for I have watched you learn and grow, as if each of you were my own. As you take a step into the next stage of your life, always remember that we at West Jasper School are your family and will continue to love and support you. Do not be afraid to DREAM and REACH for the stars. Remember, that WITHIN YOURSELF, IN YOU, there are NO LIMITS!
