Educational Technology and Educational Media : 

Educational Technology and Educational Media Instructional Technology- are those aspects of educational technology that concerned primarily with the instruction as contrasted to design and operation of educational institution. Educational Media- are the means of communication available for educational purposes other than the teacher himself. Audio-visual-media/technology aids

Audio-visual-media/technology aids-these terms emphasize the use of the senses hearing o(audio) and seeing(visual)-either singly or in combination. MEDIA Media-(plural for medium) means of communicating "message” from the source to a receiver for such purposes as information, education, entertainment or business. Message- is the content to be taught. Medium-is the shape of the message, example of which words, pictures, object, and etc. Channel- vehicle(mechanical or physical or structure through which the medium is presented to the learners

Domains of Human Learning : 

Domains of Human Learning Cognitive Level 1.1 Knowledge: to remember, define, recognize, recall/recite by memory. 1.2 Comprehension; to translate, interpret, paraphrase, summarize, extrapolate. 1.3 Application; to relate ideas and information to the other situation (e. g. How Rizal’s wishing colonial reforms will apply to the present day nationalist who do not want neo-colonialism)

The Concept of visual Literacy : 

The Concept of visual Literacy Visual Literacy-is learned ability to interpret visual message(such as designed, symbols or pictures)accurately and create such messages. Decoding-includes “reading "visual accurately, understanding and relating the element of a visual, being able to translate from visual to verbal and vice versa, and appreciating the aesthetics of visuals Encoding-includes using the tools of visual media to communicate effectively with others and express one’s self through visuals.

Designing Visuals The rough layout in commercial art called a “Blueprint” which gives less attention to the artistic details and more consideration on choosing the right words and images, their arrangement lettering style and colors BASIC DESIDERATIONS Arrangement Geometric shapes- (e.g. oval, rectangle, triangle) can serve framework to build on. Lines add to eye movement

Curved line-give feeling of emotion. Color- add to realism, provide emphasis and creates an emotional tone. are “cool” colors are "hot” colors
