An engineer is…:

An engineer is… a dreamer, a designer, and an inventor improving the world by creating solutions to everyday problems and taking on the challenges of tomorrow in: Medicine & Medical Technology The Environment Alternative Energy National Security …just to name a few.

Engineering allows you to :

Engineering allows you to Use your creativity Work in teams with interesting people Solve real world problems Design things that matter Always be challenged Make a great salary Travel the world

Prospective GT Engineering Students…:

Prospective GT Engineering Students… Take challenging workloads in high school. Become involved in high school and community initiatives (or activities). Are disciplined, organized and engaged. Prepare for rigorous, challenging, exciting classes and lab experiences. Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering undergraduate and graduate programs consistently rank among the top five engineering schools in the country (according to US News and World Report). Yes, our engineering curriculum is challenging but our students are successful .
