MaHATMA GANDHI Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi 2 October 1869 – 30 January 1948), commonly known as Mahatma Gandhi, was the preeminent leader of Indian nationalism in British-ruled India . Employing non-violent civil disobedience , Gandhi led India to independence and inspired movements for non-violence, civil rights and freedom across the world. [2][3]

How pollution causes global warming? Air : polluted by industrial gas and aircraft fuel etc Water : polluted by industrial waste, plastics etc. Land : polluted by non bio degradable products and chemicals.

Greenhouse gases The green house gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide are playing hazards in the present times.


Deforestation Deforestation is to be blamed for 25% of all carbon dioxide release entering the atmosphere, by the cutting and burning of about 34 million acres of trees each year.

Effects of Global Warming:

Effects of G lobal W arming Droughts Polar Bears are facing extinction due to melting of polar ice. Rising sea levels. Impacts on human health.

Steps which we can take to stop global warming::

Steps which we can take to stop global warming: Replacing a regular light bulb with a CFL. Do not leave appliances on standby. Reuse your shopping bags. Plant more trees as you can. Protect and conserve forest worldwide.
