PERSONALITY:

PERSONALITY Personality is not easily defined. Basically, ‘personality’ refers to our attempts to capture or summarize an individual’s ‘essence’. Personality is person- ality , the science of describing and understanding persons. Clearly, personality is a core area of study for psychology, if not the core. Together with intelligence, the topic of personality constitutes the most significant area of individual difference study.

PERSONALITY DEFINITION BY ADAMS.:

PERSONALITY DEFINITION BY ADAMS. According to Adams (1954, cited in Schultz & Schultz, 1994) personality is “I”. Adams suggested that we get a good idea of what personality is by listening to what we say when we use "I". When you say I, you are, in effect, summing up everything about yourself - your likes and dislikes, fears and virtues, strengths and weaknesses.

THE 10 KEYS OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT.:

THE 10 KEYS OF PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT. TELEPHONIC INTERVIEW GROUP DISCUSSION TOUGHEST INTERVIEW QUESTIONS GENERAL GUIDE LINES IN ANSWERING INSPIRATIONAL QUOTATIONS MISTAKES HAPPYNESS SELF MOTIVATION SELF ESTEEM MOTIVATION

TELEPHONIC INTERVIEW :

TELEPHONIC INTERVIEW Telephone interviews have become a popular method for screening applicants. Use these strategies to excel in a telephonic interview. Telephone interviews are becoming an important part of the recruitment process. They are now used frequently by many organizations, as the first stage in selecting a candidate. Telephone interviews save time and cost relatively less. Employers conduct telephone interviews for a variety of reasons. They may have received hundreds of responses to a vacancy advertisement and do not want to go through a face-to-face interview with each applicant.

GROUP DISCUSSION [GD]:

GROUP DISCUSSION [GD] Group Discussion is normally 2nd or 3rd round in most of the companies to check the capabilities of candidates. GDs are good indicators of managerial ability. Use these tips to improve your performance at a Group Discussion.

Toughest interview questions :

Toughest interview questions Tell me about yourself. Answer. Beware, about 90% of all interviews begin with this “innocent” question. Many candidates, unprepared for the question, skewer themselves by rambling, recapping their life story, delving into ancient work history or personal matters. This innocent sounding question is one of the hardest interview questions to answer.

General Guidelines in Answering Interview Questions :

General Guidelines in Answering Interview Questions Everyone is nervous on interviews. If you simply allow yourself to feel nervous, you’ll do much better. Remember also that it’s difficult for the interviewer as well. In general, be upbeat and positive. Never be negative! Rehearse your answers and time them. Never talk for more than 2 minutes straight. Don’t try to memorize answers word for word. Use the answers provided here as a guide only, and don’t be afraid to include your own thoughts and words

Inspirational Quotations:

Inspirational Quotations “ We only get what we deserve”. “Every day may not be good, but there’s something good in everything”. “Management is doing things right, but doing the right things”. “No one can go back & make a new beginning but anyone can start from now & make a happy ending”.

MISTAKES:

MISTAKES There are no mistakes in life; they are just lessons. Whenever something happens, there’s a chance to learn. Always be thankful for your mistakes. Mistakes always teach you a valuable lesson. Mistakes are painful when they happen, but years later a collection of mistakes is what is called an experience . Mistakes show us what we need to learn.

HAPPINESS:

HAPPINESS Happiness is a state of mind or feeling such as satisfaction, pleasure, enjoyment, contentment. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence. If you are happy in every circumstance, then your life will become so smooth and simple. Happiness comes only from appreciating what you have right now. You can even be happy by appreciating your troubles because they help you to build your character.

SELF MOTIVATION:

SELF MOTIVATION Self motivation is the ability to motivate yourself, to find a reason and the necessary strength to do something, without the need of being influenced to do so by another person. Working in a careful and persistent manner without giving up. “Many of life’s failures are experienced by people who didn’t realize how close they were to success when they gave up”- Thomas Edison. Be calm when you think about yourself and your future. Always believe “I can do this thing”. Don’t have negative thoughts in your mind.  Be positive and be optimistic.

SELF ESTEEM :

SELF ESTEEM Self-esteem is how we feel about ourselves. Our opinion of ourselves critically influences everything, from our performance at work, our relationships, and our role as a parent to our accomplishments in life. Self esteem is a major component in determining success or failure. High self-esteem leads to a happy, gratifying and purposeful life.

MOTIVATION :

MOTIVATION Motivation is something that encourages action or feeling. To motivate means to encourage and inspire. Motivation can also mean to turn on or ignite the feeling or action. Always remember this quotation: “ I am the only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still i can do something. And because I cannot do everything, I will not refuse to do something that I can do”.  When you believe you can, you can!
