Modifiers:

Modifiers A word or phrase that qualifies (modifies) a word, phrase or clause Modifiers are Adjectives, Adverbs or different phrases that modify either a subject or a predicate in a sentence

Adjectives as Modifiers:

Adjectives as Modifiers Ahmed closed the door. Ahmed closed the red door. Federer made a move. Federer made an unexpected move. Federer made a move that was not expected.

Adverbs as Modifiers:

Why Modifiers??:

Why Modifiers?? Modifying words and phrases are used to explain, expand, or clarify the meaning of a sentence.
