NEW ZEALAND RESIDENCE PROGRAMME INIVITATIONS MADE THROUGH SKILLED MIGRANT CATEGORY ON 20 th MARCH 2019 On 20 th March 2019 New Zealand held the fortnightly round of selection under the Skilled Migrant Category. As a result 663 Expressions of Interest EOIs were selected. The selected candidates had a total of 160 or more points representing 1465 people. These candidates will now undergo preliminary verification which will determine their eligibility to receive an invitation to apply for permanent residency. 577 EOIs remain in the pool after the selection. The Skilled Migrant Category: Candidates who are having skills and work experience that is highly sought after in New Zealand then they may apply through this category. Following steps should be followed while filing your visa application 1. Check your eligibility and calculate your points. 2. Submit an Expression of Interest EOI online. 3. An Invitation to Apply ITA will be issued if you have 160 points or more. 4. Submit a complete resident application within six months from the date of ITA. 5. Receive your visa after the successful completion of application.
