How does perception hinder our search for knowledge? Perception hinders in our search for knowledge by limiting our view of the world, this is also greatly tied in with reason

Language What is Language ? Language is the only way we can communicate with others Ex: We all here know English.

How does language help our search for knowledge? Language can help our search for knowledge by giving us a way to communicate and to discover new things Ex: People that we know, like Christopher Columbus, sailed the Atlantic ocean to find Indian but found the US, and he had to communicate somehow.

How does language hinder our search for knowledge? Language hinders our search for knowledge by us interpreting another language wrongly Ex; If a Hmong person would want to communicate to a Latino person, but if only there language, it would be extremely hard to understand each other

Emotion What is emotion ? Emotion is a state of consciousness in which you feel any of the feelings. Types of feelings: Fear, sorrow, hate, joy love, happiness, etc.

HOW DOES EMOTION HELP OUR SEARCH FOR KNOWLEDGE? Emotion helps our search for knowledge because with emotion we learn to have feelings and learn to recover from negative feelings.

Memory What is memory ? Memory is recalling or recognizing past events/experiences.

How does memory help our search for knowledge? Memory can help in our search for knowledge because with memory we can remember all of the knowledge we have learned.

How does memory hinder our search for knowledge? Memory can hinder our search for knowledge because we tend to remember things not needed or necessary for our search for knowledge. We can also forget the things necessary for us to expand our knowledge.

The most important wok ! We believe that the most important WoK (Way of Knowing) is MEMORY because if we had no memory we would forget all of the knowledge we have gained.
