Slide 1:

Under Incidents is where significant events/incidents that involve either an individual, employee, visitor or operations are recorded. When you first open up incidents it will open to “Admin”

Slide 2:

Under “Admin” is where you would typically record “OPERATIONAL” incidents, which are agency/program related and not directly associated with an individual receiving service.

Slide 3:

Under The exception would be something like a van accident in which several individuals receiving services got injured.

Slide 4:

Under In this particular case, rather than creating a separate incident for every single individual, you can create one “Admin” incident and it will be linked to every individual that you said was involved.

Slide 5:

Under Note: if you try and add a new “Admin” incident then you will see a message asking you to confirm that you really want to add an “Admin” incident, since most of the time you don’t!

Under Closing an Incident :

Under Closing an Incident Closed, Substantiated: There is a preponderance of credible evidence that an allegation or a situation is true and/or occurred. For example, the individual did bruise their knee. It actually happened.

Under Closing an Incident :

Under Closing an Incident Closed, Unsubstantiated: There is less than a preponderance of credible evidence, facts, or information to support the allegation OR it is in unclear whether the situation is in fact true or whether or not it occurred. For example, a neighbor makes a complaint that we threw trash on their lawn but did not see us and nobody admits to doing it.

Under Closing an Incident :

Under Closing an Incident Closed, Unfounded: There is no credible evidence, information or facts to support the allegation or situation is not true and/or did not occur. For example, the individual admits that they lied about the incident.
