Introduction   HR as a function has gone through a lot of changes in the past years. The landscape is still transforming continuously. The companies are proactively looking for better talent which has risen the need for advancements in HR software. This is why in the next slides we will discern what future of HR holds.

Slide 2:

Statistics-   A survey revealed the three biggest challenges or HR professionals in the current and coming years. They are: 59 %- Retaining or rewarding great employees 52 %- Working on developing the next-gen leaders 36 %- A great company culture to attract talent It is observed that most of the challenges begin with hiring. If you get the hiring right, other problems will automatically minimize. For hiring the right, you need to set your brand image right. HR team should sit with the marketing team often to work on it.

The future So , keeping the challenges mentioned in the previous slide in mind, here is what will change in future. Flexible With the growing number of new age workers, the flexibility in the work arrangements will soar. The 9 to 5 work schedule will come to an end. The professionals will start to work from home, enjoy, flexible work hours, and easily be able to take day offs. The employers will gradually understand as long as their work is being done properly, it is okay to let employees be.

Mobile Making everything more accessible is only possible when it is mobile. So, now HR software is becoming more and more on the mobile. Apps are being created by software providers thereby helping the employers a lot. It makes it possible for the employees to access their work on the go or when they are at home. Besides, they also make it easy to request a leave or regularise time etc. The in-out time is taken care of by the biometric attendance management software . It supports easy collaboration, flexibility and accessibility to a great extent.

Social Besides keeping a track of attendance of employees using a biometric attendance management software , making collaboration and communication easier in the organisation will also be counted as one of the major HR responsibilities. Facebook and other social media apps for posting jobs and internal application for communication amongst employees will be used actively.

Data Driven Data will become more powerful. It will influence all the small to big decisions of the company. For instance, it will tell the attrition rate, the best time to hire, the best quarter to hire, the best performers etc. So, it will be the responsibility of HR to interpret the data correctly and use it to make the acquisition, development and training, retention decisions.

Well integrated In the coming years, there will be better than ever integration. Not only will the software be well integrated with other apps, tools but also the HR professionals will also become more vigilant and smart.
