Fr Enel Almeus is a dedicated humanitarian who is committed to helping the underprivileged. He also believes in what Alfred Adler called Community feeling and Social Interest. During his youth, he along with his friends helped children in Haiti who were not able to bear the education expenses. He and his friends sacrificed their pocket money for paying the tuition fee of these children. Currently, he is associated with TADI which is a non-profit organization that works for the development of Irois. He also makes monetary and moral contributions to this organization.

Apart from seeking education and being involved in humanitarian services, Fr Enel Almeus enjoys playing soccer and tennis. Whenever he is free, he either plays soccer or tennis. He also likes spending time with people and strives to help the needy in every possible manner. He has developed a positive attitude towards people of the society. He contributes to the society in numerous ways. He obeys and respects all the elderly people in his family, neighborhood and society at large. Apart from this, he also believes in complying with the rules before negotiating. In addition, he has worked in highly remote and backward areas of Haiti, the Caribbean and the Latinos in the Parish of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Manhattan.

Fr Enel Almeus is an honest, compassionate, and faithful priest who believes in setting non-manipulative boundaries. He has completed his primary and secondary education in Haiti. He enrolled in the Seminary so that he could become a Religious Priest. From 1995 to 1997, he studied philosophy at the Seminary of Notre Dame of Cazeau from where he received a two year certificate in Philosophy. After a gap of one year, from 1998 to 2002, he pursued a Baccalaureate in Theology from CIFOR in Haiti. Fr Enel Almeus further enrolled at ESL in Houston, Texas for a course in English. In 2005, he received a Certificate in Counseling from University of the West Indies in Trinidad. At present, he is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health at St. John’s University, New York.
