Bronze Sculpture Artists:

Bronze Sculpture Artists The ancient Greeks were the first to use bronze to make life size statues. The making of bronze statue art is a highly skillful talent. The strength of bronze allows the sculpture to make things impossible using alternative mediums like stone. The look of a bronze statue gives a person the sensation of history and long life and it also makes the person to shop for bronze sculpture. Each piece of the art is unique because of the creation method. The method is time consuming and requires many steps. The idea of the Bronze sculpture artists is 1st shaped in wood or clay to form a cast. The mold is then filled with wax to fine tune the creation and also the cast.

Slide2:

‘Prices for fine art bronze sculptures are steadily increasing even in the current economic climate. A new world record for a piece of art was recorded in February at the Sotheby's auction house in London. A bronze sculpture of "Walking Man" by Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti, sold for nearly three times the pre-auction estimate. What is also intriguing is this was not ancient nor a piece by Degas or Remington. "Walking Man" was cast in 1961 a relatively modern piece of art . This fact should delight bronze collectors and dealers who now realize that they have made some good buys through the years. Increasing prices, however, should not discourage new collectors. Art Bronzes, in contrast to many other artworks, are readily available in every price range. They can be found all over the world, in shops, at auctions, at shows, flea markets and on the internet . Bronze sculptures sculptured by the bronze sculpture artists come in a vast array of models that can appeal to almost any taste. Many decorators find bronze sculptures indispensable because they add that much needed, but often sadly overlooked, personal touch to a room. Many collectors delight in a bronze's ever changing personality. Positioned in a room to take advantage of natural light, a bronze draped in moving shadows will dramatically change from morning to night.

Slide3:

Every bronze tells a story. Many speak for themselves. Others are best described by their sculptors or by their critics. Still others, and perhaps the most interesting of all, are the "unknown beings", bathed, so to speak, in mystery." These too have a story, but a story which is left to the fertile imagination of the beholder . For more information visit www.chrisnavarro.com mail us [email protected] or call us (928) 204-1144.
