How a Caterpillar Becomes a Butterfly :

How a Caterpillar Becomes a Butterfly By Giavanna F. Edited by Ms. Ariana Pictures by The Butterflies Class

Slide 2:

First, the caterpillar is in an egg. When it’s time to come out, it POPS out of the egg and then it starts to crawl onto a leaf. Then, it looks up to the sky and then it comes down. Then, it starts to crawl…

Slide 4:

Then, it gets water and drinks and eats. And it drinks and it eats…

Slide 6:

When it is very tired, the caterpillar makes a cocoon. The cocoon is very important when it sleeps because it doesn’t want anybody to wake it up.

Slide 8:

After a very long rest, it gets out of the cocoon…

Slide 10:

Then, it goes to fly to Mexico…

Slide 12:

When it gets to Mexico, it sees a bunch of different butterflies just like it. Then, when they lay down on the tress, they turn the tress into orange and black and yellow. Then, at night time, they sleep on the trees. Then, in the morning when they wake up, they all ask each other to dance…

Slide 14:

They all danced and when it said goodbye to its friend in Mexico, the little butterfly flew back home over farms and hills…

Slide 16:

And when it got back there, it laid teeny, tiny eggs.

Then, POP—out of the egg, came another teeny, tiny caterpillar… :
