+Keynote Best Practices (Tip and Tricks)

Opacity effect is not supported.
Output of a bubble-shaped quote is not the same as shown in Keynote, owing to some graphic problem.
Rounded rectangle callout (13th shape) pointer position does not appear correct in flash output.
Star and Polygon do not show same as original if their points are changed to 3.
Shapes with rotation may not appear same as original.
Star shape position and its size will not show correct in flash output if user flips the shape.
Right arrow (9th) and right-left arrow (10th) shape are not exactly the same in flash output when user draws different shapes using points and resizes the shape.
Default color will appear when user applies gradient color on shapes/background.
Oval callout (12th shape) does not appear in flash output when user applies gradient color on oval callout shape.
Left border line does not appear when user applies advance gradient fill on 8th (triangle), 9th (Right triangle) and 12th (Diamond) shape.
Tinted image fill is not supported.
Space appears between characters in flash output when user applies Kyoto Theme in Keynote.
Color appears in slide background in flash output when user applies Tinted Image fill in slide background.
Before and after spacing between paragraphs do not appear in flash output.
Some of Action animations on image will appear as Emphasis animations.
In Keynote presentations, video disappears from presentation page when user clicks back.
Reflection size on objects is not the same as original.
Document color in text box does not appear in flash output, when user applies document color from Fonts Add-In.
Acceleration is not supported in Action animations for Keynote presentations.
Tables and Charts only appear in flash output, only with option - 'Include preview in document keynote' while saving.
Video set to play automatically fails to play on loading of the first slide 1 for Keynote presentations.
PSD images will not appear in flash output.

+PowerPoint Best Practices (Tip and Tricks)

For better placement of text avoid use of large variations in font size of text in a single line. The use of single or multiple characters with large font size the rest of the text may be vertically raised higher.
The use of spaces in place of tabs will lead to faster conversion.
Use auto fit option or manually create text boxes to fit text by dragging.
Use Format - Bullets and Numbering. Option instead of selecting bullets from the toolbar.
Avoid rotation in case of auto shapes and word art.
Use ungrouped text for better quality outputs.
Resize Images outside PowerPoint before using in slides to get better quality of Images in output.
Speed of the moving object for the motion path may vary.
Start the custom path from the object’s original position.
If more than 1 motion path is applied on the same object, and the second motion path is to start from the end position of the first path, then in this case, second effect will start from the original position of the object and so on.
Auto reverse is supported but Reverse-Path direction is not supported.
Animation Sound on motion path is not supported.
Output may vary in case of custom path, if starting position of the custom path is not same as object’s original position or original path is extended.
Order of the motion path effects will remain the same as applied in the presentation.
Moving Gif will not play, if any effect is applied on it.
Repeat for “Until End of Slide” and “Until Next Click” will keep on play for the end of the slide.
