Although Linkedin is a business networking site, it comes through as a COLD place where everything is strictly business. But most business deals or interactions happen over informal environments to help break the ice (e.g. during dinner while talking soccer or playing golf etc). Could Linkedin learn from the 'social objects' that facebook so successfully employs? Can it adopt a more informal approach to its interface and bring forth some warmth for people to engage in?
