Avui he anat al passe de les 22h a veure una llegenda viva del Jazz. On? On sinó, doncs al Jamboree JazzClub. Mr. Benny Golson acompanyat d'un gran trio de casa, de casa de veritat. Joan Monné, piano / Ignasi González, contrabaix i Joan Terol Amigó, bateria. Un quartet liderat per un "monstre" del Jazz, gran saxofonista tenor i un dels grans compositors dels ara "estàndards" de Jazz. Veure'l dalt l'escenari somrient, mentre no tocava, i observant i escoltant com ho feien els seus joves companys, als quals no ha parat d'elogiar, doncs no te preu. Entre tema i tema ha explicat històries relacionades i sempre recordant els seus antics amics, entre els quals John Coltrane, etc.. Abans d'acabar però, us poso l'enllaç al blog del pianista Joan Monné, veí de Molins de Rei i que espero poder portar aviat al Jazz Club La Vicentina, una proposta de fa molt de temps i que finalment vull realitzar el proper 2013, i si pot ser, fent-li un homenatge a Benny Golson.
