Choosing a Baby Safety Gate
Baby safety gates prevent accidents from happening to babies and small children. The baby safety gates prevent access to areas that are off limits to babies and young children. The gates range in size as far as width but the height is usually about 25-30 inches tall. This should be installed long before the baby becomes mobile in order to best prevent injuries by making sure adults are accustomed to their regular use.

Like I said its something to think about when you send your children or yourself out onto the ice this winter without a helmet.
