Stereoscopy is an emerging field in cinematography and gaming. In the field of interactive rendering on consumer hardware both, stereo rendering of standard projections and monoscopic rendering of non-planar single-center projections, such as cylindrical and spherical projections, are well known. Interactive stereo rendering of non-planar projections, though, is still a challenge. This talk sketches the adaptation of two existing monoscopic rendering techniques to stereo rendering.

A powerpoint I made for my organic chemistry class. To be honest I had no idea this was being shared, so after reviewing this 2 years later I realized that on the slide discussing cyclic or planar.. the image shown is not propane it is actually butane (C4H10). The equipment used in nuclear medicine for scanning purpose is called Gamma Camera, it detects the Gamma rays coming from the patients body and maps out in to planar images by assistance of computers. PET is a unique type of gamma camera it detects metabolic activity and provides the cross section views in 2D OR 3D Modes.
