You will see here pictures of the re-opening of Teatro Colon (opera house) of Buenos Aires, into the celebrations of the Bicentennial (the 200th anniversary of May 25, 1810 revolution, which six years later brought to Argentina the independence). The Teatro Colon was opened after a four-year refurbishment project for a special ceremony, which included ballet and extracts from famous operas beamed via projectors onto walls outside.
