Te Vara Nui Village is named after a beautiful Rarotongan maiden Te Vara, who in her younger days performed throughout the Pacific, proudly show casing the Cook Islands Maori culture to the world. The Village is reflective of her past with the “Ura Po” performance and is a chance for her to give back something to the people of the Cook Islands by reviving and allowing the world to once again, relive the memories and traditions of our Cook Islands culture.
