based social network, releases today its first ever premium service, with two membership
types: authorSTREAM Premium Plus and authorSTREAM Premium Pro. Users can enrich
their PowerPoint sharing experience by upgrading their regular accounts to premium
ones to enjoy exclusive features such as access to presentation statistics, increased
private presentation uploads, more channels, embed customization, ad-free presentations
and videos, downloadable presentations in Flash format, and even earning money with
Google AdSense revenue sharing.
Another important benefit of becoming a premium user is the possibility of purchasing
video credits in order to extend video length, when presentations are converted
to video. Each credit allows you to create a video of up to 45 minutes, free of
watermarks and advertisements. Since a free account user can only create videos
with a maximum duration of 5 minutes, the premium upgrade is an excellent alternative
to enhance presentation podcasting experience.
With the Premium Plus membership available at US $9.95 a month, presenters can upload
up to 200 private presentations, while free account users can upload only 50. Besides,
Premium Plus members are able to create up to 5 ad-free content videos, and 5 channels,
while a free account user cannot use ad-free videos and can only create 2 channels.
The Premium Pro membership is by far the best one, since it allows users to upload
up to 500 private presentations, unlimited ad-free videos, 10 channels, plus the
option of embedding presentations with their own logos, and downloading Flash files
with a customizable player. The price for this membership is US $29.95 a month.
Also when a premium membership expires, the account is automatically downgraded
to a normal one, and uploaded private presentations, channels and videos beyond
the free limits, that were created during the Premium membership period will not
be retained
