Is there a checklist I can go through before uploading a video to YouTube?

While uploading videos on YouTube, you have to ensure that the video is under the 100MB file size limit. The longer the video, the more will be the compression required to fit it into that size. This is why most videos on YouTube are of less than five minutes duration and there is a 15-minute length limit for all videos.
