Please follow the steps below

1. Open the PowerPoint file that you want to upload to authorSTREAM.
2. Go to authorSTREAM menu in the PowerPoint 2007 ribbon.
3. Upload PowerPoint file.
4. After successful upload and conversion on authorSTREAM. Sign in to authorSTREAM. Click "convert to video" available in dashboard, your syuff or presentaiton page.See the output of the presentation at authorSTREAM before creating video. Video output is almost similar to authorSTREAM output (Presentation played in player).
5. After successful video conversion. You can send your presentaiton to YouTube. See details about send to YouTube at http://blog.authorstream.com/2008/06/send-powerpoint-to-youtube.html

Yes, any one can view the public presentation without sign in to authorSTREAM. It might be some temporary problem. You can try after clearing browser cookie( http://www.whitecanyon.com/delete-cookie.php ).

After downloading the flash file to your system --> unzip the folder and run index.html.

Index file will play all the swf files of the PowerPoint file. You can also find all the swf file in the slides folder. authorSTREAM don’t convert PowerPoint file to a single swf file, for every slides in the PowerPoint file there is a swf file.

Might be audio / video in your PowerPoint file are linked. Use authorSTREAM Desktop http://www.authorstream.com/Desktop (a free software). It's a plug-in for PowerPoint 2007 (ribbon). It lets you search images (from Bing) and videos(from YouTube) and insert them in PowerPoint slides. authorSTREAM desktop handles linked media pretty well. authorSTREAM desktop don’t support wma audio format and special characters in the audio file name.

On slide 10 of my presentation at http://www.authorstream.com/Presentation/mikelottridge-270967-mikelottridgemarketingservices-education-ppt-powerpoint/ I noticed the graphics / text didn't convert correctly (see the angled text headings for the table, on AuthorStream they overlap, but on the actual PowerPoint the spacing is fine).

Sometimes I get a login prompt when accessing my presentation through a URL ( tiny.cc/MLMarketing ) - but not all the time. I assumed if a presentation is public, anyone could view it without registering. Is that true?

I recently uploaded a Powerpoint file, consisting of videos and music. The background music however failed to transfer over. I read how this is sometimes the case and I need to use Author Point Lite for this to work. I have since uploaded APL but every time I try and convert my Powerpoint to flash it tells me the send process has failed. Can you tell me what if anything I'm doing wrong and how I can go about getting this converted.

Many Thanks in Advance

Ian

Hi,
You can hide the related presentations on the player but not on the page. Work around is use your custom embed in your blog or in your website and then share it.

I am Preimum Pro user, and i have posted my file, however, when the link is clicked from share it hides most of what i want and there are no ads.. but the related videos shows in the right bottom corner.. can this be removed. I created a custom player, but not exactly sure how to make that work with my presentation for the user that clicks on my link. I truly just want it to show in their browser only the presentation without the surrounding stuff. Am I being clear? Hope so.

Audio on different office versions is supported in different ways with authorPOINT Lite.

1) If you have office XP/2003 then aP Lite will pick audio only if it is added to the PowerPoint using MS PowerPoint's Add Narrations feature.

2) However, on office 2007 we also support Linked/Embedded audio files and Transition sounds. Following formats are supported to some extent- Wav file, Mp3 files. (.wma format is not supported)

Also, before you convert using aP Lite, make sure the 'Use if found' option is selected on 'Presentation Settings' tab of Options window in aP Lite

Hi,
Currently there is no such option on authorSTREAM. May be in near future authorSTREAM can provide this option.

When someone views my power point, they also see the full transcript of every slide.
How to turn this off?
i want them to read the words on the slides when they watch the presentation.
