You can search and download any presentation provided the owner of that particular presentation allows download.
The presentations which are available for download will have PowerPoint icon to start download and the ones that are not available will have download icon grayed out. In the latter case, you can send a request to the uploader for permission to download or any other special permission through comments (Public/Private) section. As soon as you post the comment, uploader will receive a mail intimating him about the comment posted.
