Please monitor carefully, and make sure you have adequate battery power left to complete a Sync. You should always connect the Tablet to a car charger, even on “short” trips. This will help you maintain the Tablet battery strength during the day. Log off of PointCare EVERY evening. Turn off your Tablet EVERY evening.Slide 10: 10 FYI It is Jordan policy that no pictures should be taken of Medicare patients using the Tablet. Email is only stored on the Tablet for 3 days (72 hours) by default. It is discouraged to Sync while traveling in your automobile. Signal strength widely varies, and you could lose the information in a bad signal area. Make sure you have a “constant” 2 bars or better on your signal strength meter before attempting a Sync.Slide 11: 11 FYI Downloading the FDB (Medications) database takes a long period of time (up to 3 hours in a weak signal area). Downloading the FDB can be done as part of the Valet by activating the checkbox … OR …. Menu Maintenance Communications FDB UpdateSlide 12: 12 FYI Updates to HCHB occur every 6-8 weeks. It requires running a Valet ( No Longer a Separate Application ) & PointCare Renew Data. You MUST have all visits completed PRIOR to running Valet. Valet and/or RenewSlide 13: 13 FYI PointCare Selective Refresh should be done approximately once a week. It will NOT delete any incomplete visits. It updates PointCare tables and forms and takes about 6-7 minutes. To Select All Tables: Press Tablet MENU Button Press SELECT ALL Press SELECT to Begin the RefreshSlide 14: 14 FYI The Tablet screen may be locked in either the horizontal or vertical presentation mode by pressing on the top screen border and pulling it Down.
