Florida Bright Futures Scholarships

Florida Bright Futures :

Florida Bright Futures Florida Academic Scholars - $125 per credit hour Florida Medallion Scholarship - $94 per credit hour Gold Seal Vocational Scholars - $94 per credit hour You will receive Bright Futures even if you have other types of aid that pay your tuition/fees, including Florida Pre-Paid Plans

Florida Bright Futures (cont.) Students must repay the university for any courses dropped or withdrawn from that were paid with Bright Futures funds Bright Futures funds are not available during the summer

Tuition Deferments:

Tuition Deferments Tuition Deferments for financial aid recipients Automatically provided if you have Bright Futures and/or an Undergraduate Admissions scholarship or if you have a FAFSA on file by the deadline announced on the USFAS website Prevents cancellation for non-payment After you register, check OASIS to see if you qualify; remember check each term Provides temporary extension to pay tuition

Why You Want a Tuition Deferment:

Why You Want a Tuition Deferment Tuition is due at the end of the fifth day of classes each term Financial aid is paid on the sixth day of classes Without a tuition deferment, your tuition payment would be late & your classes would be dropped
