Business Environment : 

Business Environment Egypt is the Arab country with the greatest influence of Western culture. They regard themselves as a bridge between two cultures.   The country has an ancient tradition in the international trade, reinforced by the Suez Canal opened in the XIX century. The British Empire's legacy lives on in its bureaucratic system, causing delays, inspections, sealing of various documents, etc. There are different standards depend if it is the negotation with public company, private company or companies located in the free zones.

A possibility to avoid administrative obstacles to imports is established in free zones in the Gulf of Suez and Port Said to offer incentives and favorable tax treatment for foreign investors. Business opportunities focus on agreements with the administrations in the areas of infrastructure, energy, transportation and construction material.
