The innocence of a child and the purity of a mother is an unparalleled combination. While a mom loves her child unconditionally and looks after his/hers every need even before he/she starts speaking, a child depends on his/her mom for everything and loves her the most. For a child, his/her mother is his world. On Mother's Day, children try to make their mom feel special by doing little things. Reciting poetry qualifies as one of the most loved activities. In this presentation, I provide some poems which kids can recite to their mom on Mother's Day……. Slide 3: The kindest face I'll ever see, The kindest voice I'll ever hear. The one who cares the most for meIs my own mother dear. All through the yearI'll try to doThe things that showMy love for you. And not be happy just to say, "I love you, Mother," on Mother's Day. Slide 4: Take an angel from the skyAnd send her down this way. Then send some little boys and girlsTo keep her company. Then fill her heartWith Mother love, Give her a smile of cheer. And you'll have a kind of MotherJust like my Mother, dear. Slide 5: Mother's Day brings to mindThe thousands of things you did for methat helped make me happier, stronger and wiser, because I had you as a role model. I'm grateful for all the timesyou healed my hurtsand calmed my fears, so that I could face the worldfeeling safe and secure. I'm thankful for all you showed meabout how to love and give--lessons that now bringso many blessings to meeach and every day. Your sacrifices and unselfishnessdid not go unnoticed, Mom. I admire you, I respect you, I love you. And I'm so glad you're my mother! Slide 6: I said a Mother's Day prayer for youto thank the Lord abovefor blessing me with a lifetimeof your tenderhearted love. I thanked God for the caringyou've shown me through the years, for the closeness we've enjoyedin time of laughter and of tears. And so, I thank you from the heartfor all you've done for meand I bless the Lord for giving methe best mother there could be! Slide 7: Mom, I look at youand see a walking miracle. Your unfailing love without limit, your ability to soothe my every hurt, the way you are on duty, unselfishly, every hour, every day, makes me so gratefulthat I am yours, and you are mine. With open arms and open heart, with enduring patience and inner strength, you gave so much for me, sometimes at your expense. You are my teacher, my comforter, my encourager, appreciating all, forgiving all. Sometimes I took you for granted, Mom, but I don’t now, and I never will again. I know that everything I am todayrelates to you and your loving care. I gaze in wonderas I watch you being you—my miracle, my mother. Slide 8: Motherhood is a blessing that can only be experienced by a woman. A mother is someone whose love never ends - it only increases and grows with time. She loves her children even before they are born and continues to do so all her life. Children often take their mother for granted, once they grown up, and almost start neglecting her. Even then, the love of a mother never retreats. This Mother's Day, make your mother feel special and let her know that you realize her contribution in your life and are thankful for all that she has done for you. Are you wondering how to tell her this? You can make use of the ‘Thank You Mother’ poems given to you in this PowerPoint show. Happy Mother’s Day to all Mothers.
