Presentation Description

We play this game I call "speed rounds" on the review day before a test. Students are placed in teams of 3-4 people. Every team gets an answer sheet. I collect answers at the end of each round. I give a prize (extra credit) for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place. Teams can tie for a place.

SPEED ROUNDS:Exponents and Polynomials GROUND RULES: No notes. You may use a scientific calculator. For anyone to win, someone has to score 5 points. For each round, your group has the opportunity to turn in a solution to the problem. It is the instructor’s discretion when to call the end of the round, there will be a 30 second warning. SCOREBOARD: +1 = Turn in a problem and it is completely correct. -1 = Turn in a problem and there is a mistake. 0 = If you hold.
