Premium member Presentation Transcript How to Add a UVM Student to the Millennium System : How to Add a UVM Student to the Millennium System Slide 2: Students from UVM may borrow 5 books for 28 days from our library from the main circulating collection, teaching and learning resources (TLR), and the children's collection. They will also be able to check out New Books for 2 weeks. They can renew the books for another 28 days. New Books will only renew for another 2 weeks. Requirements : Requirements The student must present a UVM ID The ID must be swiped using the card reader at the desk Once the card has been swiped the word “permitted” should appear on the screen. An account must be created for this person, unless one already exists. Slide 4: Click on “New” to create an account Slide 5: Scroll down and click on “Reciprocal Student” Slide 6: Click on Next Slide 7: Double click next to the Red “u.” This will bring up a box with multiple entries. Slide 8: Click on UVM and click “OK.” Slide 9: Click on Next Slide 10: Double Click to bring up the calendar to choose an expiration date. Click on this link to see the expiration date for each semester. Slide 11: Click on Next Slide 12: Type the student’s name Last name, First Name and click “next.” Slide 13: Type the student’s email address and click “next.” Slide 14: Type in the student’s home address and click “next.” Slide 15: An address 2 box will pop up. You do not have to add a second address. You can click on “next” Slide 16: Type in the student’s phone number and click on “next.” Slide 17: A telephone 2 box will pop up. You do not have to add a second telephone number. You can click on “next.” Slide 18: You would scan the 13 digit barcode for this type of account. You can find the barcodes in the folder labeled “VCAL & UVM & St. Mikes” in the tiered holder next to the computer in room 103. Slide 19: The barcode will show up at the bottom of the screen. No more fields will show up. You can click on “Save/Cl … “to save the entry. Slide 20: This is what a completed account will look like. You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
