Server Desktop Application Platform Stock Trader is an n-tier distributed Microsoft VB.NET application that typically runs in the above configuration. One or more database servers host data, typically on a SQLServer database, which is accessed by the .NET application on the application servers. Users make HTTP requests to the Web server, which then makes requests to the .NET application. The only requirement from Stock Trader for access is IE.
