The following mental health indicators can imply that the person may have obsessive love disorder : Disinhibited social engagement disorder : This means that every person who is extremely outgoing and socializing all the time with random people finds it hard to form meaningful and emotional one on one relationship and thus have obsessive love disorder . 2. Reactive Attachment Disorder : It is a condition in which a child is unable to form a secure and loving bond with his/her primary caretakers that can be parents or guardians. Later on, they struggle to form relationships with anyone . 3. Borderline Personality Disorder : It is a relatively common mental health disorder which is characterized by unstable mood swings and absurd behavior. These people can have extreme reactions to situations, inability to control anger, addiction, and suicidal thoughts. Some victims of this disorder face obsessive love disorder.

Erotomania : This is a rather rare case but it means that you think a celebrity or someone of a really high profile is in love with you when he/she is actually not.
