Slide 6: In the first 30 days of pregnancy you had a tail and gill slits. Slide 7: The pulsing of your primal heart tubes grew into a four chambered organ always attuning to your mother`s heart song. Slide 8: You began to build a brain and nervous system to receive and translate the electromagnetic frequencies of the universe into usable information for your internal development and preparation for outer life. Slide 9: Whatever the expecting mother thinks about, sees, feels, and aspires for Slide 10: is chemically translated to the fetus and determines which genes shall be activated or inactivated Slide 12: Your mother's reactions to her environment prepared you for a world of war or peace Only later could you choose again Slide 13: Nature evolved the Cerebellum and Brain Stem millions of years ago. Repetitive movements become automatic in our 'reptilian' hind brain. Slide 14: The Limbic system of the mid brain gives emotional value to our experience. Neurons from this 'mammalian' brain connect to the 'reptilian' brain, to the cortex, and directly to the heart. This important mid brain mediates our internal communications and our external relationships. Slide 15: Our cerebral cortex, which makes all higher thought possible, developed over the mid brain and hind brain Slide 16: By birth, only the lower portions of the nervous system, the spinal cord and brain stem, are very well developed; whereas the higher regions of the limbic system and cerebral cortex are still rather primitive. Slide 17: The baby's first year of life is a firework display, as brain neurons rapidly grow in response to the environment. This magnitude of brain growth will happen again in adolescence, peaking between 15-18 years old. Slide 18: The infant's brain has a long journey of growth after birth. The right & left hemispheres of the brain begin to build a neural bridge called the corpus callosum. Slide 19: Loving care is what most stimulates the neurons to grow and connects the 3 main brain centers. The 4th brain center- the prefrontal lobes begin to develop only after birth and do not mature until early adulthood. Slide 20: The heart is composed of 60% neural cells- it is the 5th part of the brain! The heart gives out and receives electromagnetic frequencies. It is our most powerful sense organ. The heart connects through the amygdala to the prefrontal lobes. The prefrontal lobes make advanced thought processes possible. You learn better when you are surrounded with Love! And you feel the support of a loving home, educational environment & community. Slide 21: From birth to adolescence the neural pathways that are most used become myelinated or encased in a protective sheath. This gives a solid foundation for the new neural explosive growth of unmyelinated neurons in the prefrontal lobes beginning at 13 years old. Slide 22: The prefrontal lobes go through an explosion of neural growth between 13-21 years old. This takes you beyond a limited sense of self to a universal sense of connection. Slide 23: Brain researcher Paul MacLean calls our prefrontal cortex the “angel lobes”. He says they are responsible for feelings of compassion, the desire for transcendence, and the need for non-ordinary experiences. Slide 24: This rapid neural growth in the adolescent prefrontal lobes demands novel experiences, group activities, and alternative realities. Slide 25: In traditional cultures Youth was a time for initiations into adulthood, vision quests, and finding spirit guides. Slide 26: Brain scientist Candace Pert first discovered the brain's endorphin receptor sites in the 1970's. She says the prefrontal lobes are “wired for bliss”. Slide 27: The prefrontal lobes of teens demand new and mystic experiences. This must be given positively or teens may seek drugs that leave lasting negative effects in the part of the brain that is most useful for long term planning, complex problem solving, and higher human virtues. Slide 28: Teens need to connect and explore, Slide 29: have vision quests and inspiring models. Slide 30: The entire universe is nothing but waves of energy, which we receive and respond to through our hearts and brains. All of us must remember. Slide 31: Scientific instruments can detect the electromagnetic waves of a person's heart up to 4 meters away. These waves are similar to the earth's magnetic and radio waves. Slide 32: When people are in heart resonance Slide 33: the electromagnetic energy of the heart is 5000 times greater than the electromagnetic energy coming from the brain. Slide 34: Heart energy is irresistible for all living beings. Slide 35: Everyone needs love When the heart and brain are in coherence... Slide 36: Love is to become ONE with that which one loves. Love is the wave of transcendence. tweet delicious You do not have the permission to view this presentation. In order to view it, please contact the author of the presentation.
